Our Friends Place

Our Friends Place is dedicated to helping young women break the generational cycles of abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness through empowering self-reliance and independence. Our Friends Place owns and operates two Transitional Living Centers (TLCs) which provide a supportive home for young women battling homelessness or poverty, aging out of foster care and escaping abuse, neglect or sex-trafficking. All young women living at Our Friends Place must enroll in classes to further a career, find and maintain a job, pay a portion of their earning as rent and a portion into savings, and attend weekly group sessions to learn life...

To be the recognized expert in north texas on the issues facing young women ages 18 - 24,education,employment,& life skills in a stable & safe environment,and empowering young women to be self-sufficient on a livable wage as they work towards independence.
