Mercy, we like to say is Our Ladys Church, the Pearl of Mid-City Baton Rouge. Our church parish is made up of 2 priests, 2 deacons, 25 professional lay ministers caring for 3,000 registered families that represent 9,000 souls! While at our parochial school, we are serving students from 3 years of age until 8th grade, having 100 professional team members, and we are forming nearly 1,000 children in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ. Since our founding in 1947, the parish has grown to one of the largest Diocesan communities serving a rich and beautifully diverse area in the heart of Louisiana.
