Our Ladys Montessori School

Our Ladys Montessori School was founded by the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT) in 1973. SOLT is an international Catholic religious community composed of ecclesial teams of all the vocations laity, priests, and sisters. We currently offer a toddler program for children 18 mos. - 3 yrs. and a Primary Program for 3-6 years. Montessori provides experiences for students to learn from. Learning doesnt only come from lectures or listening, learning comes from doing and experiencing the world around them. Students can actually see an addition, subtraction, multiplication and division problem occur as he or she manipulates each place value. The children have the ability to practice each concept over and over with the materials until they develop mastery and understanding. Because the works are real and relevant to them, the loss of learning, experienced through the summer months, is minimized through the use of the Montessori Method.
