Our vision is an empowered LGBTQIA+ community who are confident being their authentic selves in every workplace. Despite the progress since marriage equality in Australia in 2017, stigma and discrimination continue to be commonplace for LGBTQIA+ people in Australian society. Our communitys mental health and wellbeing lag behind the rest of the country, with the picture ever starker for our communitys most marginalised. Whichever job we hold, or in whichever industry we work, the significant portion of our lives that we spend at work can have a big impact on our overall well being. Our mission is to empower LGBTQIA+ people to thrive at work in the formative stages of their career. Despite younger generations being more likely to identify as LGBTQIA+ and first coming out younger, they are the least likely to be out at work.
