For five generations, the Derakhshan family has worked as real estate developers, builders, designers, and contractors. Navid and Omid Derakhshan, the co-founders of Outdoor Makeover & Living Spaces, began their careers at an early age, helping out on their fathers construction sites. Navid, an Emory trained biologist, and Omid, a civil engineer from Georgia Tech, started Outdoor Makeover & Living Spaces in 2001 under the leadership of their father. The seamless integration of two very different disciplines from Navid and Omid is what introduced the concept of Outdoor Makeover & Living Spaces to the metro Atlanta area.
