Pacific International Lines - Jordan

PIL was incorporated in 1967 and used to operate a fleet of more than 100 multipurpose vessels. It has converted to a fully containerized liner company around early 1990s. PIL operates container liner services covering the whole of the Far East to Europe, Canada, the Indian sub-continent, Red Sea/Gulf, East Africa, South/West Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, East Coast of South America, West Coast of USA, and the Black Sea. Honoring the commitment, it started over 50 years ago when the line first arrived in Aqaba; PIL has further strengthened its roots in Jordan by announcing its strategic partnership with the long-term ally and representative Kawar Group. Believing in the potential of Aqaba ports and the growing economy of Jordan, Kawar Group and PIL launched a Joint venture under the name Pacific International Lines JORDAN; a new company registered in Amman, which will continue to serve its clientele and offer better value to their businesses
