Pacific MMI Insurance Limited

Pacific MMI is a national owned insurance company operating throughout Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Region. The company was established in 1998, through a joint venture between Motor Vehicles Insurance Limited (the Motor Vehicles Insurance Trust) and Allianz New Zealand Limited. The Joint Venture took control of the insurance portfolio previously operated by the Niugini Insurance Corporation. In 2009 Motor Vehicles Insurance Limited became the sole shareholder of Pacific MMI Insurance Limited. Pacific MMI is now a 100% PNG owned. We operate from our conveniently located office in the National Capital District in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Pacific MMI is a registered general insurance company under the Insurance Act 1995, and a registered life insurance company under the Life Insurance Act 2000.
