The Padang & Co story started with Singapores first major public hackathon, UP Singapore, in 2012. Padang means green, open field in Malay. We are champions for Open Innovation, bringing people together, and creating the occasions and environments for their creativity to flourish and innovation to emerge. The worlds leading corporations and organisations come to us with both conventional and non-conventional business problems. We scout for innovative, agile startups and SMEs globally, to find those game-changing ways that solve the problems and run pilots with a view to scale those solutions. To catalyse these collaborations at scale, and address more of Southeast Asias challenges today and opportunities of tomorrow, we curate thematic communities: Agriculture, Food, Health, Smart(er) Cities, and Sustainability.
