Pakistan Alliance for Girls Education - PAGE

Pakistan Alliance for Girls Education PAGE was launched on the sidelines of the 2013 World Innovation Summit for Education. Its inaugural meeting was held in Doha, Qatar and attended by Federal Minister of Education, KPK Minister of Education, Chair of the Higher Education Commission and representatives of Citizens Foundation and other civil society organizations. It was formally registered in June 2014, under Trust Act 1882 with registration number 1349. As a developing country, Pakistan faces many challenges which must be addressed in order for the country to prepare global citizens and compete in the global market. While we are pressed with a number of issues, education remains a key issue that still requires major intellectual and financial investment.
