Panama-Buena Vista Union School District

The Panama-Buena Vista Union School District (P-BVUSD) provides a safe, supportive environment where all students can ask questions, find answers, reach their full academic potential and become caring, responsible citizens. Established in 1875, the original district housed a mere 11 students in makeshift lean-to structures. Today, the student population numbers over 18,000, and pupils from Pre-K through eighth grade receive instruction in the most modern of facilities. The P-BVUSD takes pride in its motto, Excellence in Education. The district employs a staff of dedicated, energetic, and highly qualified teachers who respect and enjoy working with students.
