Panhellenic Council at the University of Florida

Greek life was founded at the University of Florida in 1948 and there are currently four Greek councils, the Interfraternity Council, Multicultural Greek Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council and the Panhellenic Council, with a combined total of 64 chapters. The Panhellenic Council serves as the governing body for 17 National Panhellenic Conference chapters on campus, creating a sisterhood of more than 4,500 women.
