Parikshit Student Satellite

A team of undergraduates, dedicated to designing and building a 2U class nanosatellite which will be launched by ISRO and used for thermal imaging of the Indian subcontinent. The Parikshit lab is equipped with state of the art technology, and within it a functional, clean room, as well as a fully operating ground-station, built inhouse. We are also employing an electrodynamic tether for de-orbiting the satellite which if successful, will make us the first team in the world to do so.
