Ranch and Home, INC. has been locally owned and operated in the Tri-Cities area for over 35 years. Starting with our Pasco location in 1974, providing clothing, equipment and supplies primarily to area farmers, we quickly expanded to serve the needs of farmers, ranchers and homeowners throughout the region, opening our 2nd store, across the river in Kennewick in December 1999. While living in Albert Lea, Minnesota, George Dress started investigating different areas for building a farm supply store. In Pasco, Washington, he found all the elements he was looking for; a growing economy and agriculturally based area with an airport. In 1974, George built Pasco Ranch & Home Supply. He ran it remotely from Albert Lea for approximately 14 years. The store started with 15,000 square feet and an average of 37 customers a day. In 1988, the store was sold to a restaurant chain.
