Pastor Training Community

Equipping pastors and church leaders worldwide who will make disciples who make disciples for generations to come. (Matthew 28.19-20; 2 Timothy 2.2) Estimates suggest approximately 2.2 million pastors serve around the world, with only five percent of those pastors having adequate training for pastoral ministry. Even if the number of pastors trained is off by a factor of ten, that would still mean approximately one-half of the worlds pastors are not adequately trained to fulfill their role. In virtually any other industry, efforts would be made to rectify the problem of a lack of training. In many instances, help is made available when the individuals involved are from impoverished places. For many of the untrained pastors around the world, the issue is a lack of opportunity (proximity and financial). PTC realizes that one organization cannot solve the issue altogether.
