Our roots run deep in lime and limestone. Weve been mining and marketing lime since 1925 - initially as Piquetberg & Bredasdorp Lime Works. Generations of customers have benefited from our high quality calcite lime. At first, the company focused on calcining limestone into lime for the building industry. In 1935 it started producing its renowned P&B Agricultural Lime. Production of Animal Feed Lime followed in 1995. P&B Agricultural Lime is natures own soil booster. It creates the ideal conditions in the soil, to help you get the most from your fertilizer. Thats because the pH level of the soil determines how much nitrogen, potassium, phosphorous and other plant nutrients are available for uptake by the plant. It also promotes the growth of microbes and modifies clays and heavy soils to become more workable. Available in bulk, mini-bulk (+- 500 kg) and 50 kg bags.
