Peacebuilding Initiative

Established in 2019, the Peacebuilding Initiative (PBI) is a student-led platform at the Geneva Graduate Institute (IHEID) dedicated to bridging the gap between aspiring peacebuilders and the broader peacebuilding architecture. The vision of the co-founders is to better address the challenges of peacebuilding by integrating the youth and young professionals in the international community to play a more effective role in supporting peacebuilding efforts around the world. Our mission is to provide an entry point for youth and young professionals to engage with peacebuilding professionals and institutions in Geneva and beyond. We do this by organising thought-provoking discussions, lectures, seminars, and networking events, which allow for informative and collaborative inter-generational exchanges.
