PECORANERA is a sustainable knitwear brand based in Milan. It was founded by 9 young friends, each of us hailing from different cultural and social backgrounds, but each of us a black sheep - a pecora nera - in our own way. We create contemporary knitwear, ranging from luxury pret-a-porter to unique pieces, upcycling the highest quality Italian yarn from unsold or deadstock collections. Our conscious and personal approach, in contrast to the often wasteful practices of mass production, allows the creation of garments that are not only sustainable, but of the highest quality. Together, we aspire to redefine and rejuvenate knitwears image, serving as a model of sustainable luxury fashion. PECORANERA represents a youthful vision of reality, emerging from a reflection on nature and culture, the individual and the collective, the fantasy and the urban.
