About Us

Pegasus Leisure Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of Melbourne Racing Club that operates various venues across metropolitan Melbourne. Initially Melbourne Racing Club owned and operated two entertainment venues Caulfield Glasshouse on course at Caulfield and Highways adjacent to Sportingbet Park in Springvale. That number doubled to four from August 2010 with the addition of Steeples at Mornington and Stoneys at Bacchus Marsh through the Clubs merger with the Mornington Racing Club. In December 2010 MRC acquired seven hotel properties previously owned by the Munday Group. The seven venues spread across metropolitan Melbourne are the Golden Fleece Hotel in Melton, the Sugar Gum Hotel in Sydenham, Players on Lygon in Carlton, the Golden Nugget in the Melbourne CBD, the Court Jester in Prahran, The Cove in Patterson Lakes and The Grand Hotel in Frankston.
