Pehlay Akshar Foundation has a core belief of providing students the right to education and skills to be future-ready since its inception in 2008. With the philosophy of creating safe spaces, Pehlay Akshar works with students and teachers across India, partners with State Governments and implements programs that change how students learn, and teachers teach in schools. In response to COVID, #AStoryADay was launched that provides English stories to children to improve their English skills from home. It brings cheer and learning through simple stories. In partnership with SCERT (Maharashtra), Pehlay Akshar Foundation also launched Magic Classroom, a virtual classroom based on the Maharashtra State Board Textbooks for students of 1st to 8th grade across English and Vernacular mediums.
