Pender Community Hospital

Pender Community Hospital District (PCHD) is a forward-thinking non-profit organization based in Northeast Nebraska with roughly $30M of annual revenue. Not only does our district proudly operate Pender Community Hospital an award-winning 21-bed critical access hospital but four rural health clinics, three retail pharmacies, a child development center, and two facilities for aging adults and seniors. Our district consists of the western two-thirds of Thurston County, approximately 100 square miles of Cuming County and smaller sections of Burt and Wayne Counties. Our operation is comprised of roughly 300 staff members, including 4 full-time physicians and 5 mid-level providers. Our team strives to ensure the people within our community have high-quality, full-spectrum care close to home.
