Smartswitch Technologies was established in by Neil Gilmore in 2002, in response to the unavailability of marine-quality controls and monitoring equipment for the yacht he had recently purchased. With a background in electronic design, Neil decided to design and manufacture the products he was seeking, and sell them to the marine dealers he had been talking to.
