Penn State Accounting Society

The Accounting Society is a professional student-run organization that benefits accounting majors and students interested in accounting related fields. Throughout the year, we schedule numerous firm/company-sponsored events where professionals make presentations about a specific topic of interest. Topics may include resume building, interview tips, mock interviews, and business etiquette. The Accounting Society provides students with the opportunity to network with recruiters and representatives from the firms at these events. This provides students with valuable information as well as providing an opportunity for students to receive an invitation to a firms summer leadership programs, obtain an internship and/or receive a full-time job offer. In addition, the Accounting Society holds social and service events in which students network with their fellow peers in a comfortable atmosphere.
