Penn State World Campus is the online campus of The Pennsylvania State University. We offer more than 150 regionally accredited undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs. Our students come from all 50 states, and more than 40 countries on all seven continents. Mission Founded in 1998, Penn States online campus grew out of the universitys long and distinguished history in distance education, which dates back to 1892. The mission of Penn State World Campus is to extend Penn States undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs to learners who are unable to access other Penn State campuses due to geographic limitations.
