Penn-Sylvan Internationals key to success is our personnels many years of hands-on experience in both export marketing and the domestic hardwood industry. Our operation includes dry kilns, grading stations, and kiln dried storage, in addition to two sawmill operations situated in the northwestern Appalachian region. We buy our timber from the abundant wood lots of local government agencies as well as from private land owners. The hardwood timber in this area is known for its consistent color, tight grain configuration and excellent woodworking properties. In this area one will find the largest combination of Black Cherry, Soft and Hard Maple, Red and White Oak, Poplar, Ash and Walnut in North America. We also have veneer quality and number one saw logs available for worldwide distribution.
