Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival

A leading Shakespeare festival with an emerging national reputation for excellence, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival (PSF) is a professional theatre company on the campus of DeSales University. Founded in 1992, PSF is the only fully professional Equity theatre in the Lehigh Valley and the only theatre of its scope within fifty miles. PSF is the Official Shakespeare Festival of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Each summer, PSF produces a season of Shakespeare and other classics, musical theatre, and childrens theatre. About an hour north of Philadelphia and less than two hours from Manhattan, PSF is summer home to over 150 artists from around the country, including winners and nominees of the Tony, Obie, Emmy, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, Jefferson, and Barrymore awards. In the fall, the Festivals premiere education program, the Linny Fowler WillPower Tour, tours a Shakespeare play to students in PA, NJ & DE.
