Pentair Haffmans develops and manufactures Quality Control and Process Equipment to both recover and manage CO2 for the beverage industry. Mr. Ernest Haffmans founded the company in 1947 as an agent for the European brewing industry, focussing mainly on the supply of raw materials. When in the early 1960s Ernest Haffmans decided to develop and assemble Quality Control Equipment, the famous CO2 Gehaltemeter was born. In the 1970s the activities were extended and Haffmans started to deliver CO2-Recovery technology. In 1980 Bert Haffmans succeeded his father and the focus of the company shifted from trading into development, manufacturing and service, focusing on the areas of Quality Control Equipment, Units for Carbonation, Blending, De-aeration and CO2-Recovery. In 1998 Norit leading in purification became the 100 % shareholder of Haffmans BV and Menno M. Holterman became Managing Director.
