OUR FOUNDATION Churches can be motivated by various factors, but for a church to be balanced and healthy, we believe it must be motivated and built around the five New Testament purposes given by Jesus. Peoples Churchs five purposes of Worship, Evangelism, Fellowship, Discipleship and Ministry are based on two of Jesus most important commandments; the Great Commandment, Love God with all your heart and love your neighbour as yourself (Matthew 22:37-40), and the Great Commission Go make disciples... baptising them... and teaching them to obey everything (Mathew 28: 19 -20).
