Personal Point pioneered the concept of Weight Management centres in India in the year 1992. Late Dr. Suneel Kaul, its ambitious founder who always thought ahead of his times saw a niche in the field of Obesity Management back in the year 1989, when mostly body building and outdoor fitness activities were prevalent. By qualification, he, a medical doctor wished to explore the preventive and promotive aspects of medicine (the positive healthcare systems) as against practicing the curative pathological treatments, which he was trained in. He was soon accompanied by his wife, Dr. Shobha Kaul who gave up her wishful career in medicine to support her husbands endeavors and take the brand to heights after his unfortunate demise in the year 1996.
