PERTS uses research-based techniques to raise students motivation and achievement. Our programs have improved grades and reduced the racial achievement gap at multiple schools. They are designed to change how students think about school in ways that enhance their motivation and achievement. Background Studies by Stanford Professors Carol Dweck, Geoffrey Cohen, and Greg Walton show that short psychological interventions can raise students motivation and reduce group-based achievement gaps.
