Pest Free Kaipatiki Restoration Society

Were Pest Free Kaipatiki Restoration Society (PFK) and we exist to restore and protect the natural environment of Kaipatiki. We created PFK for the Kaipatiki community because there were barriers for restoration action and a need for the community to be connected. PFK is a local umbrella organisation that works with, and connects the community and partner organisations, through activities aimed at native habitat restoration and protection. Were passionate about creating a world where our native habitat and community are interwoven and flourish together. PFK was created by Kaipatiki volunteers who saw that they could have a greater impact in ecological restoration by uniting to inspire and resource their community. Discussions that began in 2015 led to the formation of PFK as an Incorporated Society in 2017; receiving charitable status the following year.
