Pharmacy Sales Caribbean Ltd. was started in 1972 by two Barbadians, who had a desire to fill the need for the reliable provision of quality pharmaceuticals to Barbadians. Operation began with four staff members in a small rented building in Lower Whitepark Road. At that time five (5) suppliers were represented, one of which remains to this day. The current largest supplier was added to the portfolio in 1974. In 1980 Pharmacy Sales Caribbean Ltd began participating in the OECS Tender competitions and developing its export market. Further lines were added during the 1980s, including a large supplier for rodent control products in 1984. The growth of the company necessitated the creation of the sales and marketing department which was started with two (2) employees to intensify growth of our market share.
