January 2002 - The global economy was reeling from the September 11 th , 2001 terrorists attacks. Airline travel came to an abrupt halt and fear paralyzed many Americans, Corporations, and business owners. Hotels experienced unprecedented vacancies, supply chains were interrupted, building projects were canceled, massive layoffs began, businesses permanently closed, and the future appeared bleak. However, as a former US Army Infantryman who lives by the Infantrymans Creed, President & CEO Sheldon Winston refused to cower, quit, surrender, or accept defeat. For most, launching a new business in January of 2002 would appear ill-advised and destined to fail, but Sheldons faith in God and faith in Americas resilience to rise and rebuild from the ashes led to Phoenixx Systems birth.
