Phyla Earth works to restore ecosystems that have been degraded by mining, intensive agriculture and other degenerative activities. We are pioneering the development of regenerative biodiverse agroforestry (AF) systems across the Global South and have developed a valuable portfolio of climate change-resilient plant species able to withstand harsh conditions where few other plants are able to grow, thus laying the foundation to revive ecosystems and rebuild healthy soils. Our vision spans the entire value chain as we innovate to unlock the full potential of traditional agroforestry to scale for a rising demand for bioenergy, food proteins and water resources. PHYLA works under the premise that more diversity in an ecosystem equates to greater resiliency of that ecosystem.
