About Us

Piazza dellArte (PDA) is a mobile, multidisciplinary, educational art organization, established from the conviction that every youngster, regardless of his or her background, should receive the same opportunities to develop their creative talents. In the field, Piazza dellArte attempts to ease the step towards art by actively bringing the artistic experience to the young people (with our caravan of busses) and encouraging them to be creative themselves via numerous multimedia art labs. Piazza dellArte directs itself to young people aged 14 years or older and sets up its art-labs in their surroundings: whether it be in schools and suburbs or in museums, youth clubs and cultural centres. There, guided by professional artists, youngsters get the chance to take part in the ateliers Word & drama, Dance & movement, Electronic music, Video, Video animation, Graphic design, Photography, Mixed media, Costume design and Monumental art
