PICMET

PICMET (Portland International Center for Management of Engineering and Technology) was established in 1989 with an objective to support generation and dissemination of knowledge in technology management, worldwide. The primary activity to achieve this objective is the annual international conference. First PICMET Conference was held as PICMET91 in Portland, OR with a theme of Technology Management: The New International Language hosting around 400 attendees from about 30 countries. Since 2004, PICMET has become an annual conference held at different locations in the world bringing together around 600 participants from diverse backgrounds and career levels from about 50 countries. About 70% of the attendees are researchers, educators, graduate students and administrators (Dept.
