Pimapen

Pimas was established in 1963 to manufacture PVC pipes. The pipes used for carrying potable water, irrigation and sanitation until then were made of asbestos or iron. These pipes were hard to lay, carry and repair, adverse to human health and, easily lost their functions. It was possible to bring potable water to villages in very fast manner after PIMAS started to manufacture PVC based pipes in Turkey. By this means, thousands of villages accessed potable water. It was then possible to install sanitation systems in buildings in a shorter period of time and, most importantly, in a healthy manner. This caused a revolution in the agriculture industry. Springer irrigation systems superseding conventional irrigation systems allowed the transfer of more amount of water in an effortless manner.
