When our founder, Peter, visited London in 1965 and realized that pizza didnt exist there, he soon returned a man on a mission armed with a pizza oven from Napoli and a chef from Sicily. And when the oven was too big to fit through the door of his first restaurant on Londons Wardour Street, he rounded up friends to help him knock the wall down.
