Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics has a singular historical significance attached to its name. From the renowned Banyan tree, under which two of our nations foremost political fathers held their highbrow deliberations, to the young scholars today who have carried forward their legacy; GIPE has cultivated some of the brightest minds over the past century. Having garnered its reputation as one of the top research-oriented institutes in the field of economics (and allied subjects ranging from agribusiness, finance, international trade and population studies), the institute has witnessed a large-scale increasing graph in placement dynamics.
