Placid Vidya Vihar Senior Secondary School

The school bears the name of an illustrious and learned sanyasi priest Very Rev. Prof. DR. Placid Joseph Podipara CMI. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Monastery, Chethipuzha and was loved and admired by people far and near. The school was formally inaugurated as an English Medium High school n 15th July, 1984 by Mr. T.M Jacob, the then Minister of State for Education. The dedicated and selfless service of the Management and the staff has made the school, one of the excellent institutions in Kerala.
