Plain Vanilla

Plain Vanilla is an independent bakery founded in 2011 with the intent to be a reminder of the contentment and goodness of a good old-fashioned piece of cake. Our methods are traditional and our bakes familiar and comforting. Each of our treats is crafted on site at our flagship bakery at Tiong Bahru, every batch lovingly made from scratch in small quantities with the best ingredients we can find. Whilst were proud to put out one of the best-loved cupcakes around, Plain Vanilla is more than just a cupcake shop. Its a place for friends to gather, a point for intersecting ideas and dreams, and dare we say even a second home for some. What started as a one-woman show has now expanded to a forty-person team over the course of seven years, and were always on the look out for folk who want to join us in building and maintaining these narratives
