Plataforma Mocambicana da Agua (PLAMA) is a public private network organization of the Mozambican water sector which aims to improve the sector effectiveness and efficiency. PLAMA aims to improve the performance within the Mozambican water sector, as well as in relation to other sectors of the Mozambican economy and international players. PLAMA is a mechanism for improved dialogue and structured participation of the private sector in the development of the Mozambican water sector. Mozambiques water challenges need integrated solutions, which need different type of players from different sub-sectors. Therefor PLAMA brings together private companies, governmental organizations, knowledge institutes and NGOs active in the broad water sector.
