PlanBEE (Built Environment Education)

PlanBEE (Plan for Built Environment Education) is an award winning higher apprenticeship conceived by Ryder Architecture and Gateshead College which has been operating successfully in Newcastle since 2016, Manchester from 2021 and London from 2023, with an affiliated programme in Vancouver. The apprenticeship is multidisciplinary, with a strong emphasis on industry focussed, work-based learning through rotational placements with the sponsor employers. Graduates from the programme have advanced to successful careers in the built environment, directly into employment with sponsors and higher education pathways including degree apprenticeships in architecture, engineering, surveying and construction management
