PLANHO was founded in 1997 by Emiliano Rodriguez and Enrique Vallecillos with the aim of providing a comprehensive and human-centred approach to the planning and design of technically and functionally complex buildings. Specialising in hospitals, our scope of work also includes research and teaching facilities, as well as urban and institutional infrastructure. Our working method, based on research and experience, involves engaging clients, users, and experts from the very beginning of the design process. Balancing the intricacies of complexity and functionality, along with the demands of high-tech facilities and equipment, leads us to operate within a continuous disciplinary and collaborative process, consistently combining technical precision with a human-focused approach.
