Plany AS was established in 1964 as a sailmaker, primarily supplying ships and the shipping industry. Today, most of our customers come from the marine and maritime sectors. Our biggest markets are in aquaculture, shipping and shipbuilding. Our greatest strengths as a supplier to the marine and maritime sectors are our proximity to our customers and relevant expert environments, and our first-hand knowledge of these industries. Many of our employees have worked in shipbuilding, aquaculture and shipping, which means that we have unique expertise in the design and manufacture of high-quality products for these markets. LOCATION AND CAPACITY Our head office is in Gursken in Sande municipality, which means that we are well-placed in relation to important customers and partners, right in the heart of the maritime cluster in Sunnmre.
