The Platte County Assessor is responsible for determining the value of all property owned in the county. Additionally, the Assessor is responsible for maintaining digital land records and periodic reporting to the state. Accurate assessment through careful research, analysis, and appraisal of property is essential to serving the citizens of Platte County and is accomplished primarily through the use of a Geographic Information System (GIS) and associated Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) system.
