Plitvice Lakes National Park

The Plitvice Lakes National Park is open to visitors all year round. The touring and sightseeing zone mainly covers the area around the lakes and the waterfalls. There are many hiking trails and two educational trails. We recommend you obtain up-to-date information about the available tours prior to making your visit, as the tours are largely affected by the current season and the weather conditions in the Park. The opening times and Entrances available also vary accordingly. Please use the information you obtain in order to select the suitable outfit for your holiday. Another thing worth noting is the multitude of steps (the ascent) and the altitude difference of 133 m between the first and last lake (Lake Prosca and Lake Novakovica Brod). All three Entrances to the National Park are open from mid-April to the end of October: Entrance 1, Entrance 2 and the auxiliary Entrance Flora.
