PLOES is a Non-Governmental Organisation, founded by professionals in the field of mental health and special education in 1998. Ploes is active in the field of mental health and social inclusion of citizens belonging to vulnerable social groups (mainly people with psychosocial difficulties, intellectual disability and autism), with the aim of developing programs and structures that respond to their multilevel needs. The organizations philosophy stems from the basic principles of social psychiatry and is linked to the understanding that mental disorder is a complex and multifactorial phenomenon. Therefore, preventing and dealing with its effects from a very young age in a systematic way, effective method and appropriate means can limit the future consequences it brings.
