About Us

Pocono Mountain Recovery Center provides a full continuum of treatment services for adult men and women who have been struggling with substance abuse, chemical dependency, and certain co-occurring mental health conditions. Located on a picturesque rural campus in eastern Pennsylvania, Pocono Mountain Recovery Center provides treatment at the following levels: Detoxification Residential program Partial hospitalization program (PHP) Intensive outpatient program (IOP) Traditional outpatient programming (OP) Extended care Sober living Treatment at Pocono Mountain Recovery Center is based upon the 12-Step Recovery Model, and the programs therapeutic approach employs the principles of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing. In addition to individual, group, and family therapy, the program offers a variety of experiential therapies, including art therapy, music therapy, recreational therapy, and yoga.
