Pot O Gold Cinema Advertising was born when founder and budding entrepreneur Clarke Mazza tried to get his advertisement for his business as a music instructor on screen at his local AMC theater back in 1984. He was astonished to find out the local AMC charged $1200 to produce and show slides for a month on one screen, and there wasnt even audio! Back in 1984 the cost of a movie ticket was only $3.36 compared to $8.89 in 2016! While Clarke was convinced cinema advertising was a great way to reach people, he was also convinced there was a better way to produce this advertising, both for business owners and theater owners. AMC only had a couple of advertisers at the time, and now Clarke knew why. With that Clarke found his calling.
