Point Lisas Nitrogen Limited

Point Lisas Nitrogen Limited is a joint venture between Koch Industries Inc. of Wichita, Kansas and CF Industries of Deerfield, Illinois in the United States. PLNL operates a 2,040 metric tons per day (MTPD) plant at North Caspian Drive, Point Lisas, close to the Carli Bay area. The PLNL fertilizer complex is the first facility to be located in the new Point Lisas Industrial Estate (North). The plant was constructed by the Kellogg, Brown & Root Inc. (formerly The M.W. Kellogg Company) of Houston for Farmland Industries, Inc., and Mississippi Chemical Corporation who were the original joint-venture partners. The plant began production in April 1998.
